# Baron Power Play

## Discounts and referrals (pay less)

All of these are plain request headers on the unpaid request. There is no
coupon code, dashboard, or redemption step.

- `X-Comeback-Code: COMEBACK5` - 5% off one payment per wallet. Not limited to a sell-out.
- `X-Referrer: 0xWALLET` - send on the unpaid request AND the paid retry. Once that wallet
  has made 10 paid calls, your 402 comes back 10% cheaper. Max 3 referrals per UTC day.
  Self-referral does not count.
- `X-Payer: 0xWALLET` - apply credit already earned. The 402 you receive is already reduced,
  so sign against the lower amount.
- Referrers are credited 5% of list price, which lowers a later 402 they pay themselves.

Combine headers when you can. A referrer wallet plus stored credit is the cheapest path.

## How to call one

Every paid route is a standard x402 v2 flow:

1. Send the request. You get HTTP 402 with the payment requirement in `accepts[]`.
2. Sign a matching EIP-3009 `transferWithAuthorization` for USDC
   (asset identity 'USD Coin', version 2) on Base (`eip155:8453`).
3. Resend the identical request with the `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE` header.

Amounts in `accepts[].amount` are atomic units, not dollars.
Errors are uniform: branch on the `code` field, not the prose in `error`.

## Free, no payment required

- GET /test   live readiness: engine health, a live inference, live market and voice checks

## Limits

100 requests/minute per IP, 10 payment requests/second per wallet,
50 calls/endpoint/day per wallet (20 for /alpha), $10 daily spend per wallet,
and a lower cap during a wallet's first 24 hours.

POST routes require a User-Agent of at least 3 characters and
`Content-Type: application/json`. A wrong HTTP method returns 405.
